Worcester Palladium | Worcester, Massachusetts
Hear music that bites. Right down to the bone. Brutal metal bands The Black Dahlia Murder and Dying Fetus will melt your face in their Worcester Palladium takeover on November 2! In support of their latest albums, these two groups have sentenced 29 North American cities to an unforgivingly extreme tour titled “Beg to Serve” 2024.
Delve into the melodeath and depravity. On this festering fall weekend, The Black Dahlia Murder of “Nightbringers” infamy will strike like a doomsday meteor, annihilating all your expectations with supersonic singles “Aftermath” and “Mammoth’s Hand” from their Brian Eschbach-fronted Servitude LP.
Following in their wake is Dying Fetus, the vile birth of John Gallagher’s tech-death grindcore. Dare a taste of their gruesome offerings, from spine-chilling classic “Subjected to a Beating” to freshly spawned hits like “Compulsion for Cruelty.” Savage guest acts Spite, Angelmaker, and Vomit Forth will also partake in the madness, turning those tickets you're about to buy into 5-in-1 bangers.
Fall, the season of death and doom, brings brutality to North America through the combined forces of two metal behemoths. Starting this first week of October, The Black Dahlia Murder and Dying Fetus will unchain their “Beg to Serve” 2024 Tour, plotting a path of destruction that will wreak havoc to nearly 30 cities coast-to-coast alongside three merciless guest acts. Bear witness to the slaughter on November 2, Saturday, at the Worcester Palladium!
The Black Dahlia Murder will tour in support of Servitude, their tenth overall album and first to feature co-founder Brian Eschbach in lead vocals. Paying tribute to their late founding frontman, Trevor Strnad, the group returns with a savage Scandinavian vengeance. Live at the cultural center of Worcester, the band will let loose the aggressive supersonic guitar licks that pervaded their singles “Nightbringers” and “What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse.” From 2005’s Miasma to 2020’s Verminous, The Black Dahlia Murder grew its reputation as melodic death metal’s frontrunner in the Billboard 200. See their rebellious reign revived, and hear the harrowing of their latest hits, “Aftermath,” “Mammoth’s Hand,” and more.
“The global outcry following Trevor’s passing has shown us how important the band’s music has been to so many people, and how important it is that we continue in his honor. Under all that weight, I think we all knew what needed to be done,” shared guitarist Brandon Ellis.
Hold on. The onslaught is only just beginning. Experience the macabre personified as John Gallagher’s Dying Fetus continues the concert cycle of last year’s ravenous Make Them Beg For Death LP. This Maryland-born band has audacity in droves plus the blast beats to back them. In tandem with TBDM, they will unleash new hellhound hits, such as “Unbridled Fury” and “Compulsion for Cruelty,” showing off their technical chops for American grindcore. Extreme, vile, and unrepentant, the sound of Dying Fetus is not for the faint of heart. Nonetheless, the ferocious hooks behind “Subjected to a Beating,” “Grotesque Impalement,” and “From Womb to Waste” will leave you reveling in their gruesome guttural glory.
Deathcore standouts Spite (“Caved In,” “Kill or Be Killed”) and Angelmaker (“Leech,” “I Long for Rest”) will employ their respective soul-crushing sets and icy atmospherics for the event’s opening riffs. Northeastern upstarts Vomit Forth (“Pain Tolerance,” “Unclaimed Cadaver”), meanwhile, will add their brand of brutal death metal to complete the chain reaction.
