The Acacia Strain is a five member deathcore group from Massachusetts. The band signed with Rise Records and has been defined by their “bone crushing” music stye infusing hardcore, death metal, and heavy metal. The band released their debut …And Life is Very Long in 2002. By 2006, the band dropped their third record The Dead Walk, which broke into Billboard’s US Heatseekers and Independent Albums charts. Two years later, The Acacia Strain released their career defining record, Continent, spawning the single “Skynet.” The band continued their commercial rise with subsequent releases Wormwood, Death is The Only Mortal, and the chart topping Coma Witch in 2014. In 2020, The Acacia Strain released Slow Decay, which topped three Billboard charts, including the Mainstream Rock chart.
