ABOUT ATREYU

Emerging from Yorba Linda, California in 1998, Atreyu came out with a very eclectic sound during the rise of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. The band dabbled in hardcore, emo, goth, and many more sounds. This garnered plenty of following among listeners. Hence their breakthrough in 2004 upon the release of their sophomore album The Curse. Through word of mouth on the Internet and their relentless touring, Atreyu grew a niche following which later turned into a massive fandom. By the time they released their fourth album Lead Sails Paper Anchor, the band has topped the Mainstream Rock and Hard Rock charts and peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200. Their singles “Becoming the Bull,” “Falling Down” and “Slow Burn” also performed phenomenally on the Mainstream Rock and Alternative charts. In 2023, the band released their latest album The Beautiful Dark of Life, through Spinefarm Records.
