Breakaway Music Festival returns to the Palladium in Worcester, MA on Saturday, August 22nd, 2016 as part of the festival's dual-day run (August 21-22) in Philadelphia and Worcester for the 2016 season. With CELSIUS as the official sponsor of Breakaway Music Festival, fans can expect a day filled with incredible electronic music, art installations, and so much more as thousands of fans descend upon the venue's interior and exterior spaces.
Grammy multi-nominee Zedd brings his top rated EDM to fans all across America. Although he is a German-Russian DJ, he has performed numerous shows in America and fans everywhere love him! He is known to perform hits such as "Clarity," "Stay the Night" (feat. Parson James), "The Middle" (with MARSHMELLO & Bastille), and many more. His album "Telos" was released in 2024 and the young artist continues to grow with each new song.
Gryffin will bring his mix of emotional songs that you can vibe out to and festival worthy tracks that get the crowd going all day long. His style of music can be best described as a wild mix of genres. Songs like Feel Good, and Tie Me Down, feature Gryffin's use of live guitar creating an atmosphere of emotive sounds. His collaboration with Ann-Marie on Whole Heart is another hit, giving fans a look into Gryffin's producing side.

Crankdat always brings the heat wherever he performs and that is no different to his fans. As an artist in the world of electronic music, Crankdat makes music of so many different styles within the EDM genre and it really caters to the large portion of fans that follow him. The fans love to dance to his production that has a huge amount of trap sounds mixed with a lot of musicality in them as well. Fans really enjoy his reworks as well as the original songs that he creates and some of his popular songs are "Dollars" and "REDO".
The festival will be held in the interior and large outside areas at the Palladium. There will be hot dogs, pizza, popcorn and plenty of boozey and soft drinks for sale throughout the space.
